Dale Farthing

	Dale Farthing, 66, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 5:00 a.m. 	Wednesday, August 15, 2000 at his home.
	Mr. Farthing was a coal miner and a member of Cross Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.
	He was born February 16, 1934 at DuQuoin, the son of Virtus and Mildred (Killingsworth) Farthing.  He married Joy Huffstutler on April 18, 1953 at DuQuoin.
	Surviving are his wife, Joy Farthing of Pinckneyville; one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Susan Farthing of Macon; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Larry Goldman of Pinckneyville, Gay and Fred Eisenhauer of Pinckneyville and Carla and Tim Hankla of Pinckneyville; his mother, Mildred Farthing of Tamaroa; nine grandchildren, Mrs. Nelson (Amber) Yates, Rebecca, Wyatt, Hannah and Leah Eisenhauer, Christin Hankla, Micah Hankla and fiancee Jaime Braeutigam, Quintin Hankla and Todd Buddy Farthing; one great-granddaughter, Raygan Yates; one sister, Jean Clark of Linwood, KS; his mother-in-law, Ruth Huffstutler of Pinckneyville and lots of nieces and nephews.  
	He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and his father-in-law, Carl Huffstutler.
	Funeral services were Saturday, August 19 at 12 Noon at Nine Mile Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Smith and Rev. Jim Stewart officiating.
	Interment was in Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
	Visitation was at Neal-McClure Funeral Home on Friday, August 18 from 3 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 until 9 a.m. and then at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.
	Memorials may be made to the Leah Eisenhauer Fund.
